According to the concept of constructivism and CDIO engineering education, from the characteristics and teaching reality of "microwave circuits and devices"curriculum , the teaching content of "microwave circuits and devices" course be reorganized and updated. And in the concrete teaching practice， the advanced education ideas of constructivism and CDIO engineering education be combined organically and applied. At the same time, various teaching method of engineering-oriented be reasonably combined and used. for raising the students' creative thinking ability and engineering practice ability, all these play positive roles. The good teaching effect is also shown.
