Steve Banzaert

Biography

Stephen Banzaert received B.S. degrees in physics and music from MIT and an M.A. in music performance from the New England Conservatory.



He has spent the past ten years designing and building electronic projects ranging from sculpture installations to aircraft research, and has been an instructor at the MIT Edgerton Center for four years. He is currently also Project Coordinator for the Bernard M. Gordon-MIT Engineering Leadership Program.



In addition to his work in electromechanics Steve maintains an active schedule as a trumpet player, and is a founding member of the Triton Brass Quintet, ensemble in residence at Tanglewood and Boston College.
