Biography

Executive Dean, Professor of Engineering, College of Technology and Innovation

Chell Roberts is the Executive Dean and Chair of Engineering for the College of Technology and Innovation at Arizona State University, where he has been developing and leading highly innovative programs at the intersection of traditional disciplines. Dr. Roberts is part of a leadership team developing the curriculum and organizational structure for a new college model that brings together engineering, science, and management in a multi-disciplinary fashion focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship. The newly developed curricular model is studio based and highly flexible. As part of the program development, Dr. Roberts led the development of the iProjects program that matches industrial partners with students and faculty to solve real problems.  The iProjects program was the 2011-2012 winner of the President’s Innovation Award.
