Abstract

HOW TO CULTURE INNOVATION COMPETENCY IN NETWORK PRINCIPLE COURSE

ABSTRACT

Pioneer higher engineer education must provide not only the discipline-specific fundamental knowledge, but also competencies and attitudes demanded by the labor market. Innovation competency, one of popular concepts in economy field, is considered to be key component for improving the productivity, increasing the quality of products and decreasing production costs of companies. So the innovation competency should be cultured by higher education, especially by application-oriented high education. However, it is less discussed how to combine the culture of innovation competency with professional courses. This study is focused on the culture of innovation competency in network principle course. And we will introduce it from the course contents, pedagogy to assessment and evaluation. At last, the outcomes are discussed.
