The ranking is based on the university’s commitment to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), through scholarship, research, outreach and stewardship.

Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI) - Morocco

Established in 1986, the Moroccan School of Engineering Sciences (EMSI) has cultivated a distinguished reputation for excellence, shaping generations of engineers through a multidisciplinary industry-strongly-connected curriculum that prioritizes practical application and a commitment to fostering well-rounded and industry-ready graduates.

EMSI is the biggest engineering school in Morocco in terms of number of students (+13.000), faculty (+750), alumni (+18.000), campuses (18 campuses) located in 5 key Moroccan cities, namely, Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech, Rabat, and Tangiers.  EMSI provides a comprehensive foundation in core engineering disciplines and skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, design thinking system thinking, and leadership.  EMSI’s students can select from five meticulously designed engineering programs, namely,

  • Computer Science
  • Civil Engineering
  • Automation and Industrial Computing Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Financial Engineering

These programs are at the forefront of academic excellence through innovative engineering education approaches and best practices such as project-based learning, blended learning, international certification, and accreditation as well as rigorous quality assurance system.  A strong professional integration is built into the curriculum thanks to EMSIs Career Centers which allow regular exchanges with industry,  recruitment agencies, career forums, and internships, and through very active huge alumnus.  Each program is adapted on an ongoing basis to reflect the nature of changing technologies, economic needs, and the demands of digital solutions within engineering. All these efforts account for the recent ranking which puts EMSI as the top of private engineering schools and third among all engineering schools (public and private) in Morocco.

Moreover, EMSI’s affiliation with the largest private higher education network in Africa, Honoris United Universities, unlocks a multitude of enriching opportunities, including, international collaboration, exchange programs, and exposure to diverse perspectives.
