It is our pleasure to inform you that the International CDIO Council has accepted 3 new members of the CDIO Initiative in Asia. A total of five Asian schools have now been accepted as CDIO members in the first months of 2017.
About the school
The 2017 CDIO Asian Regional Meeting being hosted by Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi in cooperation with the Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University dated March 13-15, 2017. The meeting aimed to provide opportunities for administrators and educators coming from different universities in Asia to share and discuss education reforms and innovation.

After the UK & Ireland regional meeting during the EU meeting held in Dublin in January 2017, it is our pleasure to inform you that the International CDIO Council has accepted 1 new member of the CDIO Initiative:
Pedagogical skills and qualifications were on the agenda for the CDIO meeting in Gothenburg on March 8th.

On October 25th and 26th 2016 one of two CDIO Faculty Development Courses was held at the Department of Product & Production Development at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. The course focused on imparting knowledge about CDIO, and how to integrate innovation, entrepreneurial and business skills in the technical programmes to the participants that are engaged in teaching and development of MSc programmes.
At the international CDIO Conference in Turku it was decided to update the CDIO Standard to a 2.1 version. The new version contains updated rubrics for self-evaluation and is found at: http://cdio.org/content/cdio-standard-21
